LODGING: SOUTH AFRICA
Kraal, Boma & All Days Camps (Deluxe Lodging)
These options would best be described as a three star plus venues. Double occupancy rooms en-suite, daily maid service, great local cuisine with amenities including open bar and swimming pool.
Meals are usually served outdoors and apres dinner drinks are served in the "boma", as it is tradition for PHs and clients to gather around the fire pit to exchange "tall tales."
Shakawa (Luxury Lodge)
Arguably the finest hunting lodge on the South African continent. The style and decor are traditional Africa, but escalated to a quality far exceeding the typical rondoval or chalet... Right down to the heated pool.
Gourmet meals are served on the veranda, in the large boma or at the formal dining table. The bar is always open, with a deep selection of top shelf liquor and wine choices from many vineyards.
The service is unparralelled with non-hunter options including photo safaris, spa treatments or simple detailed attendance, poolside. (Yes, the pool is heated)
LODGING: Kalahari (Camp Douglas)
Various hunting opportunities available here including management hunts (Springbuck and other cull hunting), as well as many unique Cape species of plainsgame. Rifle and Bowhunting (Photos Lower Right)
ZAMBIA (Deluxe Tented Safari)
Our tents are placed on a concrete slab, with a private bath at the rear. A grass-lapa roof is placed over the top of each to prevent uneccesary damage from sun and weather. Rock walkways divide the eating and sleeping area. The food is good, but the view is even better!
